Ycosmas is functionally a playable art project as opposed to a video game; it is not a product. There is no profit being made off of Ycosmas, and it does not exist to generate profit in any form. With this being said; Ycosmas claims fair use protections for copyrighted soundtracks used within. The inclusion of copyrighted content in a creative project is transformative; it recontextualizes the content with the intent of curating artistically successful virtual spaces within the Ycosmas project.
